Abstract
USO DE ÁCIDO IBANDRÔNICO OU SEUS SAIS OU ÉSTERES FISIOLOGICAMENTE COMPATÍVEIS A invenção refere-se ao uso de ácido ibandrônico (ácido 1-hidróxi-3-(N-metil-N-pentil)aminopropil-1,1-difosfônico) ou seus sais ou ésteres fisiologicamente compatíveis, para aperfeiçoar a osseintegração de endopróteses amarradas isentas de cimento. O ibandronato ou os seus sais são aplicados durante um curto período imediatamente após a inserção de uma endoprótese, com o resultado surpreendente de que se obtém estabilidade secundária do implante em apenas 5 semanas ou menos depois da operação.
