Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "FILMES DE VEDAÇÃO PARA BANDEJAS". Um filme (20) pode ser vedado a uma bandeja (10) por meio do achatamento de uma borda superior (16) da bandeja a fim de produzir uma superfície de vedação planar (16'). Um filme (20) pode em seguida ser vedado à superfície de vedação planar. O achatamento pode ser obtido usando-se um aparelho de vedação a quente de alta temperatura e pode provocar o fechamento das células das bandejas de espuma de célula aberta. Além disso, o calor usado na etapa de achatamento pode ser útil no sentido de facilitar a vedação a quente do filme sobre a bandeja, caso feito em uma sucessão suficientemente rápida.
