Abstract
"COMPOSTOS E/OU DERIVADOS FARMACEUTICAMENTE ACEITÁVEIS, COMPOSIÇÕES FARMACÊUTICAS, MÉTODOS DE TRATAMENTO DAS DISORDENS NEUROLÓGICAS EM PACIENTES E PROCESSOS DE PREPARAÇÃO DOS COMPOSTOS OU DERIVADOS FARMACEUTICAMENTE ACEITÁVEIS" Trata-se de compostos que inibem a atividade da enzima peptidil-prolil isomerase (rotamase) da proteína de ligação FK-506 (FKBP) e de composições que compreendem esses compostos. Os compostos inibidores de FKBP possuem um núcleo de azaamida bicíclica [3.3.1], [4.3.1] ou policíclica. As composições farmacêuticas que contêm esses compostos ajudam a estimular o crescimento de neuritos nas células nervosas e aumentam a regeneração dos nervos. Os métodos de tratamento de células nervosas com essas composições são úteis para promover o reparo de danos neuronais causados por doenças e traumas físicos.
