Patente de Invenção: "COMPOSTOS DERIVADOS A PARTIR DE UMA ALFA-D-XILOSE, MÉTODO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO E USO TERAPÊUTICO" . A presente invenção diz respeito a novos produtos industriais, os compostos de -D-xilose da fórmula I: na qual X e Y representam de forma independente um do outro, um átomo de oxigênio ou um átomo de enxofre, R~ 1~ representa um grupo CN, CF~ 3~ ou SO~ 2~CH~ 3~, e R representa um átomo de hidrogênio ou um grupo acila alifático que contenha de 2 até 5 átomos de carbono. Ela também diz respeito a um método para a preparação e para a utilização em terapêutica dos referidos compostos da fórmula I.
