Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA EXTRAIR CAROTENOS DE MATERIAIS CONTENDO COROTENO" . Um processo para extrair carotenos de materiais contendo caroteno, em particular de gorduras e óleos de origem biológica, o qual provê a extração do referido material contendo caroteno com um extrator compreendendo no mínimo um membro selecionado entre o grupo consistindo em acetonitrila, N- metilpirrolidona, N,N- dimetilformamida, tetraidrofurano, N,N- dimetilacetamida, furfurol, morfolina, 4-formilmorfolina, 4-acetilmorfolina, 4- metilmorfolina, 4-fenilmorfolina.
