Abstract
"USO DE AGENTES DE ENRIJECIMENTO CORNEAL EM ORTOCEROTOLOGIA ENZIMÁTICA". É proporcionado um método de Ortocerotologia enzimático para corrigir erros refrativos no olho de um individuo mamífero. A aceleração da reconfiguração da córnea é realizada mediante a administração de uma quantidade enrijecedora corneal de um agente de enrijecimento corneal ao olho do indivíduo. A correção é realizada sob a influência de uma lente de contato rígida ou uma série de lentes que possuem uma curvatura côncava que irá corrigir um erro refrativo. A córnea rapidamente reconfigura sua curvatura convexa à curvatura côncava da lente de contato, tornando o olho emetrópico. A córnea é permitida a "enrijecer" para manter a nova conformação emetrópica. Após o "enrijecimento" ter ocorrido, a lentes que torna o olho emetrópico é removida.
