Abstract
"USO DE HIALURONIDASE NA FABRICAÇÃO DE UM PREPARADO OFTÁLMICO PARA LIQUEFAZER O HUMOR VÍTREO NO TRATAMENTO DE PERTURBAÇÕES DO OLHO" Trata-se de um método enzimático para o tratamento de distúrbios oftálmicos dos olhos de mamíferos. A prevenção da neovascularização e da taxa aumentada de depuração do vítreo de materiais tóxicos à retina é obtida mediante a administração de uma quantidade de haluronidase eficaz para liquefazer o humor vítreo do olho tratado sem causar danos tóxicos ao olho. A liquefação do humor vítreo aumenta a taxa de troca de líquido da câmara vitreal. Esse aumento na troca remove esses materiais e condições cuja presença causa danos oftalmológicos e retinais.
