Patente de Invenção: "PROTEÍNA 3 DA ZONA PELÚCIDA HUMANA (hZP3), ATIVA, RECOMBINANTE" . A invenção refere-se a métodos para produzir proteína de zona pelúcida recombinante ("rhZP3") e peptídio glicosilado tendo atividade biológica de ligação a espermatozóides humanos. Uma linhagem de célula ovariana humana é usada para produzir rhZP3 tendo um padrão de glicosilação necessário para atividade biológica total. São discutidos métodos para determinar peptídios úteis com atividade de ligação a espermatozóides humanos e sínteses dos mesmos, bem como o uso desses peptídios e proteínas em terapêuticos e diagnósticos.
