Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO DE LIGAÇÃO DE DOIS TUBOS EM MATERIAL TERMOPLÁSTICO REFORÇADO" . A invenção refere-se a um método para conectar dois tubos (18A,18B) de mesmo diâmetro fabricados de material termoplástico reforçado. As extremidades (24,26) dos dois tubos (18A, 18B) são primeiramente soldadas de topo ao longo de uma soldadura em costura circunferencial (28). Após a soldagem (28), um envoltório externo (30) feito de um material termoplástico reforçado é montado substancialmente sobre todo o comprimento da soldadura em costura circunferencial (28), sobrepondo ambos os lados da soldadura (28) nas seções das extremidades dos dois tubos (18A, 18B). O envoltório externo (30) é aquecido e pressionado radialmente até o envoltório externo (30) e as seções das extremidades dos tubos (18A, 18B) são interpenetradas.
