Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO APERFEIÇOADO PARA A CONVERSÃO DE 2-(METILTIO)-5-(TRIFLUORMETIL)-1,3,4-TIADIAZOL (TDA) PARA 2-(METILSULFONIL)-5-(TRIFLUORMETIL)-1,3,4-TIADIAZOL (TDA SULFONA)" . A presente invenção põe à disposição um processo para fazer sulfonas de tiadiazol. Em especial, o presente processo é aplicado para fazer 2-(metilsulfonil)-5-(trifluormetil)-1,3,4-tiadiazol aplicando oxidação catalítica na presença de um agente de oxidação adequado. O sistema de catalisador aplicado para a reação de oxidação é uma mistura de ácido acético glacial e um catalisador de tungstênio. O catalisador de tungstênio é escolhido preferentemente do grupo constituído de tungstato de sódio, tungstato de potássio e ácido túngstico.
