Módulos de troca de calor adjacentes de um transformador de calor tipo placa de corrente transversal de recuperação são unidos em uma unidade única por meio de barras espaçadoras de placa comuns. Cada barra espaçadora comum se estende entre e nos módulos adjacentes. Os espaços de meio de módulo da técnica anterior são eliminados.
