"PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR XILITOL" Xilitol é produzido contactando-se D-arabitol com um microorganismo que pertence ao gênero Gluconobacter, Acetobacter, Achromobacter, Agrobacterium, Arthrobacter, Azotobacter, Brevibacterium, Corynebacterium, Erwinia, Flavobacterium, Micrococcus, Nocardia, Planococcus, Pseudomonas, Rhodococcus, Morganella, Actinomadura, Actinomyces ou Streptomyces e é capaz de converter D-arabitol em xilitol, e recuperar xilitol assim produzido.
