Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MEDIDOR" . Um aparelho (31, 32, 132) e método para determinar a concentração de um componente medicamente significante (por exemplo, glicose) de um fluido biológico (por exemplo, sangue) compreendem fornecer uma célula (31) para receber uma amostra do fluido (por exemplo, sangue). A célula (31) suporta uma química que reage com o componente medicamente significante (por exemplo, glicose), e primeiro e segundo terminais através dos quais a reação da química com o componente medicamente significante pode ser avaliada. Um instrumento (32, 132) possui primeiro (34-2, 134-2) e segundo (34-3, 134-3) terminais complementares aos primeiro e segundo terminais, respectivamente, da célula (31). Um controlador de avaliação (52, 54, 148, 158) é fornecido. O aparelho determina o tipo de amostra e a concentração de um componente medicamente significante da amostra.
