Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA REMOVER PELO MENOS UMA PORÇÃO DE BIGUANIDA PRESENTE NUMA FONTE AQUOSA". É descrito um método para remover biguanida de fontes aquosas, tais como piscinas. O método inclui as etapas de colocar pelo menos um metafosfato polimérico em contato com a fonte aquosa numa concentração suficiente para formar partículas contendo biguanida. As partículas contendo pelo menos uma porção de biguanida podem então ser removidas por vários meios, inclusive filtração ou vácuo.
