"PROCESSOS PARA LIQÜEFAZER UMA CORRENTE DE GÁS PRESSURIZADO RICO EM METANO, E PARA LIQÜEFAZER UMA CORRENE DE GÁS NATURAL COMPREENDENDO METANO, PROPANO E HIDROCARBONETOS PESADOS". Esta invenção refere-se a um processo para liqüefazer uma corrente de gás pressurizada (10), rica em metano, em que a liquefação da corrente de gás ocorre em um trocador de calor (33) sendo resfriado por um sistema de refrigeração de multi-componentes de corrente fechada (45), para produzir um produto líquido rico em metano, tendo uma temperatura acima de cerca de -112°C (-170°F) e uma pressão suficiente para o produto líquido ficar em ou abaixo de seu ponto de ebulição. O produto de gás liqüefeito é então introduzido em dispositivo de armazenagem (50), em uma temperatura acima de cerca de -112°C (-170°F).
