Abstract
"EMULSÃO, COMPOSIÇÃO DE EXPLOSIVO EM EMULSÃO, EXPLOSIVO EM EMULSÃO,E, PROCESSO DE FABRICAÇÃO DE UMA COMPOSIÇÃO DE EXPLOSIVO EM EMULSÃO". Os requerentes verificaram agora que espessantes associativos podem ser usados em emulsões para uso em composições explosivas, cujos espessantes associativos provêem mudanças rápidas e reversíveis em viscosidade da emulsão. Os espessantes associados provêem emulsões de explosivos tendo as características desejáveis de (1) redução significante em viscosidade durante o bombeamente e (2) reestabelecimento de viscosidade relativamente elevada quando o bombeamento é terminado sem dano aos componentes da emulsão. Acredita-se que o espessante associativo provê uma rede de ligações físicas através da emulsão, cuja rede pode ser reversivelmente rompida.
