Abstract
"APARELHO PARA EXPANDIR UMA TIRA DE METAL CORTADA AO COMPRIDO". É apresentado um aparelho para agarrar, guiar e transportar bordas laterais longitudinais opostas (10) de uma tira deformável cortada ao comprido (12) para moldar uma folha reticular expandida. Uma corrente (22) de cada um de dois pares de correntes contínuas opostas (21, 22) tem um recesso longitudinal (36) em adjacência a uma borda lateral planar longitudinal da tira (12) para alojar a borda planar (10) da tira (12) nele e a corrente oposta (21) de cada um dos pares tem uma série de projeções pontiagudas igualmente afastadas entre si (32) para penetrar a borda lateral planar (10) da tira (12), pelo que a borda (10) é agarrada de maneira eficaz entre as correntes opostas (21, 22) durante a expansão.
