Abstract

''COMPOSTOS BENZOCICLOHEPTATIOFENO''. São descritos hidroxialquilas N-substituídas ou análogos carboxialquiloxialquil de compostos 9- e/ou 1 -oxo-4Hbenzo [4,5]ciclohepta [1,2-b]tiofeno, ou análogos 9-OH e/ou 10-OH substituídos do mesmo, que possuem propriedades antihistamínicas e antiasmáticas com efeito colateral sedativo reduzido. Os isômeros oticamente ativos e os sais farmceuticamente aceitáveis dos mesmos são também descritos. Os compostos foram também observados evitar a hiperatividade da musculatura lisa.
