"ISÔMEROS OTICAMENTE ATIVOS DE CETOTIFENO E METABÓLITOS TERAPEUTICAMENTE ATIVOS DOS MESMOS". observou-se que o norcetotifeno racêmico, 10hidroxi-cetotifeno racêmico, 10-hidroxi-nor-cetotifeno racêmico e isômeros oticamente ativos do cetotifeno, norcetitifeno, 10-hidroxi-cetotifeno e 10-hidroxi-norcetotifeno têm efeitos antialérgicos e anti-inflamatórios, ao mesmo tempo em que não apresentam os graves efeitos colaterais sedativos de dose-limite do cetotifeno.
