"POLIA MORDENTE AUTOTRAVANTE" A presente invenção situa-se no campo dos dispositivos de içamento e travamento, utilizáveis em andaimes, elevadores, etc., e refere-se particularmente a uma polia mordente autotravante que compreende dois flanges (1,2) unidos na forma de uma polia, com cada flange tendo uma superfície externa e uma superfície interna, sendo que as superfícies internas são inclinadas uma em relação á outra num formato de "V" e possuem uma pluralidade de ranhuras (3) radialmente dispostas voltadas uma para outra de modo a formarem um alojamento para um dispositivo prendendor de cabo (4,5,6).
