''PNEU TENDO REFORÇO FLUTUANTE NO OMBRO/COSTADO'' Trata-se de um pneu com camada radial (10) que tem uma camada de reforço flutuante na região de ombro/costado interna do pneu. A camada de reforço compreende borracha de camada tendo um calibre sufuciente para deslocar a flexão na região de ombro/costado do pneu e, em uma modalidade pode ser reforçada com 0,50 a 6,0 phr de fibras. Dependendo do tipo de peneu em que a camada de reforço é usada, o reforço tem um calibre de 0,013 cm a 0,445 com (0,005 polegada a 0,175 polegada), quando a fibra é usada na modalidade ilustrada, a fibra é orientada circunferencialmente no pneu.
