Abstract

Método de formar um composto esticável mediante aplicação de um precursor polimérico (26), tal como um látex ou um elastômero de consolidação a calor, a um material estreitável (12), quer antes quer após o esticamento-estreitamento do material, tratando então o precursor polimérico (26) sobre o material estreitado para formar uma camada de ligação polimérica(27). Uma folha elástica (32) é ligada à camada de ligação e ao material esticado-estreitado, formando, desse modo, um laminado (44) ligado-estreitado elástico.
