Patente de Invenção: "UNIDADE DE FUNDIÇÃO TENDO UM FORNO A ARCO" . Em uma unidade de fundição tendo um forno a arco a tampa do vaso do forno é formada de duas unidades (7, 8) que são separadas por uma folga da tampa (38) e as quais são deslocáveis horizontalmente relativamente ao vaso independentemente de cada outra e das quais a unidade (8) inclui um eixo (9) servindo como um preaquecedor de material de carga. A parte superior do vaso e o eixo (9) tem um setor de parede convergindo (42a, 58, 59).
