"VAGÃO FERROVIÁRIO, LONGARINA CENTRAL FORMADA A FRIO PARA UM VAGÃO FERROVIÁRIO, VIGA PARA UTILIZAÇÃO COM A PORÇÃO DE CORPO INFERIOR DE UM VEÍCULO E MÉTODO PARA FORMAR A FRIO UMA LONGARINA CENTRAL PARA UM VAGÃO FERROVIÁRIO". Uma longarina central (6) para um vagão ferroviário (3) formada pela laminação a frio de uma folha plana de aço para uma configuração retangular. Uma das realizações inclui flanges de reforço (40) e uma outra inclui nervuras (50). A longarina central (6) pode ser formada a partir de uma única seção formada a frio ou de um par de seções formadas a frio unidas por uma única costura de solda longitudinal (94).
