Abstract

"INSERTO DE CORTE PARA USO EM UMA FRESA PARA UMA FRESAGEM DE TOPO". Um inserto de corte (1) para uso em uma fresa para uma fresadora tem superfícies superior, inferior e laterais e ao menos um par de bordas de corte principal e secundária (10, 11) formadas pela interseção entre a superfície superior (5) e uma adjacente superfície lateral (7). As bordas de corte (10, 11) unem-se via uma porção de canto de corte (12) de um raio relativamente grande, a qual é provida de uma face (15) formada na superfície superior (5) do inserto. A face (15) é inclinada para a superfície inferior do inserto a um ângulo de inclinação o qual continuamente varia de um valor negativo em uma área da porção de canto (12) adjacente à porção principal de corte (10) a um valor positivo em uma área da porção de canto (12) adjacente à borda secundária de corte (11).
