Abstract
"SISTEMA DE CONTENÇÃO PARA VEÍCULO E PROCESSO DE CONTENÇÃO DO OCUPANTE DE UM VEÍCULO". Um sistema de contenção para veículo para um ocupante sentado que inclui um cinto de segurança (16) e um membro inflável (18) é dimensionado e configurado de maneira que uma superfície do membro inflável atuando sobre uma área substancial que inclui o colo do ocupante e o assento localizado imediatamente abaixo. Outra superfície do membro posterior (18b) limita o movimento do tronco do ocupante. O cinto (16) pode passar através de ou em torno do membro inflável. O sistema de cinto de segurança pode conter um detector de colisão e sistema gerador de gás.
