Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "USO DE ALDEÍDOS AROMÁTICOS COMO PESTICIDAS" . São fornecidos métodos e composições à base de compostos naturais, incluindo bálsamo, aldeído cinâmico, aldeído -hexil cinâmico e coniferil aldeído, que encontram uso como pesticidas. As composições são eficazes contra fungos patogênicos, aracnídeos e insetos em concentrações que não são fitotóxicas para a planta hospedeira tratada. Infestações de várias partes da planta podem ser tratadas, incluindo as de folhas, sementes, mudas, frutos, flores e raízes. Organismos suscetíveis incluem ferrugem, míldio em pó, botrytis, filoxera, afídios, tripses, "codling moth", nematódeos e cigarras cicadúlidas.
