Abstract
Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO PARA VARRER TIÓIS" Os tióis são aprisionados e convertidos em compostos dissulfito, por um processo de reação dos mesmos com compostos contendo uma estrutura de anel 1, 2, 4-tiadiazol transportando um substituinte na posição 3 do anel tiadiazol, e sendo insubstituídos na posição N-2. O processo é farmacologicamente útil para inibir certas enzimas contendo tiol, tais como, H^ +^ / K^ +^-ATPase (a bomba de prótons) e industrialmente, na remoção seletiva de compostos tióis de misturas de gás ou líquidos.
