Abstract
"APARELHO E PROCESSO PARA DISTRIBUIÇÃO DE VAPOR". Uma coluna de transferência de massa ou troca de calor é dotada de um distribuidor de vapor, que circula uma corrente de vapor em volta da periferia interna da coluna (522). A corrente de vapor é descarregada do distribuidor através de um fundo pelo menos parcialmente aberto (542) e, opcionalmente, de uma série de orifícios de saída afastados entre si (540) em uma parede anular (526) do distribuidor. Um defletor (542) estende-se para cima ao longo da parede anular interna de modo a defletir a corrente de vapor para longe de uma trajetória circunferencial.
