A invenção se refere a um aparelho eletrodoméstico de preparação de alimentos, do tipo processador de múltiplas funções (ou polivalente), compreendendo um recipiente (1) de trabalho e uma unidade de trabalho rotativo (5, 6, 7), acionada por um bloco motor com um eixo acionador (5), apta a portar uma ferramenta de trabalho (7), a dita unidade sendo suscetível de ser colocada no recipiente (1), visivelmente contra o fundo (3) do dito recipiente (1), em associação com um dispositivo de apoio (8). Em conformidade com a invenção, o dispositivo de apoio (8) é solidário à unidade de trabalho, sendo montado livre de rotação em relação à mesma.
