Quando fechado, o fundo pode possuir uma cantoneira para permitir a expansão quando do depósito do vaso dentro da luva. A luva possui uma parte superior destacável . A luva possui um material de união disposto sobre uma parte interna e/ou externa da luva para encrespar a luva adjacente ao vaso para manter a luva em torno do vaso.
