Patente de Invenção de encadernador universal com garras deslocáveis, compreendendo trilho (1) provido de furação (2), ressaltos (3) e depressões (4) para encaixe de uma pluralidade de blocos (5) providas de elemento de fixação (6) e ressaltos (7) e depressões (8) compatíveis com os existentes no trilho (1) tendo uma face superior projeção (9) em arco, rígida, e apresentando aberturas (10 e 11) circulares nas quais tem alojamento eixo (12) giratório, provido de projeção em arco (13) igual a anterior (9), e tendo abertura quadrada (14) para passagem de vareta (15) igualmente de secção quadrada que, girada, permitirá fechar ou abrir as garras, formando pelas projeções (9 e 13), de retenção das folhas a serem encadernadas.
