É impelido por força motora, através de tração braçal, sem qualquer necessidade de conhecimentos prévios de navegação, equilíbrio ou ouso de remos, consistindo de um quadro tubular onde são afixados seus periféricos, como: banco, leme, pás de tração, flutuadores e etc.
