"SUPORTE PARA PACIENTE". Um suporte para paciente (2) compreende dois braços (10, 12) conectados juntos de forma articulada e que se estendem entre uma base (6) e um suporte (14) ao qual uma mesa de suporte para paciente é acoplada. Na forma preferida, cada braço (10, 12) compreende elos que definem pontos de articulação (20A a 20D e 30A a 30D) formando paralelogramos. Isso garante que o suporte (14), e consequentemente a mesa, apresente uma orientação constante com relação à base. Os braços (10, 12) podem ser independentemente controláveis.
