Uma escova interdental de arame torcido que tem extremidades de cerdas tornadas ásperas, adelgaçadas e arredondadas. Um processo para preparar a escova, girando a escovas interdental das duas formas, transversalmente ao eixo da escova e axialmente ao longo de seu eixo longitudinal, ao mesmo tempo que flexiona as cerdas e esmerilha as extremidades das cerdas da escova interdental, contra uma superfície plana, móvel, abrasiva.
