Também se descreve um revestimento anti-desgaste compreendendo este nitreto de titânio dopado com boro. Também são descritas peças como peças de metal, peças de carboneto de tungstênio, e peças de metal cerâmico, por exemplo, incluindo um revestimento deste tipo.
