Uma combinação de glibenclamida e metformina de modo que, quando administrada na forma de composição farmacêutica no tratamento de diabetes melito do tipo II, a razão entre os dois princípios ativos permite que se obtenha um efeito terapêutico ótimo em qualquer estágio da progressão da doença, evitando que se faça uso da terapia de insulina nos casos mais graves.
