Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PRODUTO BIOGÊNICO DE SÍLICA ALTAMENTE PURIFICADO" . Esta invenção refere-se ao produto biogênico de sílica altamente purificado obtido a partir de diatomita e a métodos para preparação do mesmo. Mais particularmente, esta invenção refere-se a produtos de diatomita não-calcinados, calcinados e calcinados com fundente que apresentam a estrutura distinguível porosa e intricada de sílica exclusiva da diatomita e que têm um teor de sílica (isto é, de dióxido de silíciuo, SiO~ 2~) extraordinariamente alto e baixa densidade, resultando em alto volume específico de sílica. Estes produtos freqüentemente também exibem teores de metais solúveis excepcionalmente baixos e/ou extremo brilho.
