Abstract

"COMPOSIÇÃO, E, PROCESSO PARA INIBIR A POLIMERIZAÇÃO DE MONÔMEROS VINIL-AROMÁTICOS EM UM SISTEMA DE PROCESSAMENTO DE MONÔMEROS VINIL-AROMÁTICOS" . São apresentados composição e processo para inibir a polimerização de monômero vinil-aromático. As composições são combinações de derivados de ácido dinitro-salicílico e um composto de hidroxilamina e são adicionadas ao monômero durante o processamento. A composição preferida é ácido 3,5-dinitro-salicílico ou éster metílico de ácido 3,5-dinitro-salicílico e bis-(hidróxi-propil)-hidroxilamina, em uma relação em peso entre 1:9 e 9:1.
