Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "INIBIDORES DA CORROSÃO RESISTENTES A HALOGÊNIO". Apresentam-se compostos aromáticos, contendo nitrogênio, não-substituídos com halogênio, que são eficazes inibidores da corrosão do cobre em sistemas aquosos tratados com um biocida halogenado. Os materiais da presente invenção apresentam inibição da corrosão do cobre comparáveis com o toliltriazol na ausência de halogênio, velocidades da corrosão do cobre de menos que cerca de 63,5 m (2,5 mills) por ano, em sistemas aquosos onde o halogênio está presente, e não apresentam um efeito prejudicial na demanda de halogênio num sistema aquoso em tratamento.
