Abstract
"MOLDE PARA FUNDIÇÃO CONTÍNUA" . A presente invenção concerne um molde para a fundição contínua de metais, de preferência aço. O molde apresenta um lado de entrada (2), um lado de saída (3) e uma cavidade (4) entre estes. Na parte superior, as quatro principais paredes internas são curvadas internamente apresentando mossas que se estendem na direção do centro do molde, onde posteriormente essas mossas diminuem na direção descendente do lado de saída do molde. Assim, o molde apresenta uma forma que corresponde ao modo de comportamento da solidificação do material, o que resulta em um melhor contato e melhor apoio para o casco de cordão fundido.
