Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA TRATAR REFUGO TÓXICO PELA SUA VITRIFICAÇÃO". São escritos um processo e aparelho para tratar refugo tóxico por sua verificação, o processo compreendendo as etapas de prover o refugo na forma de pedaços relativamente pequenos; opcionalmente adicionar material vitrificável ao refugo; fazer com que uma fonte de luz de elevada intensidade incida sobre o refugo e o material vitrificável opcional; a fonte de luz de elevada intensidade sendo de suficiente potência para provocar o derretimento e subsequente vitrificação do refugo; esfriar e armazenar o material vitrificado.
