Abstract

"SISTEMA DE TRATAMENTO DE MEIOS AQUOSOS PARA FILTROS AUTO-LIMPANTES" . Um filtro auto-limpante tal como efluente de despejos de esgoto e afins, o qual compreende um leito ventilado de material distinto de filtração, tais como particulados de sílica, materiais plásticos não oleosos finamente triturados ou retalhados, particulados de argila, zeólito moído, terra diatomácea, carbono ativado em pó, carbono de fibra curta, carvão triturado fino, no qual é dispersa uma população de organismos vivos tais como vermes, insetos, larvas de mariposas colembola, crustáceos e ácaros, os quais possuem habilidade de manter pelo menos uma camada de superfície do leito em um estado aberto e aeróbio. Preferivelmente, o leito é coberto com um revestimento permeável à água e ar o qual exclui uma grande porcentagem de luz incidente.
