A invenção se refere a novos derivados de ácido 2-(4-pirazolilóxi-pirimidin-5-il) acético de fórmula I(I) na qual R~ 1~ é hidrogênio, C~ 1-4~ -alquila, C~ 1-4~-alcóxi, C~ 1-4~-alquiltio, C~ 3-6~ -cicloalquila ou di-C~ 104~ -alquilamino, R~ 2~ é hidrogênio, C~ 1-4~- alquila, C~ 1-4~-alcóxi, C~ 2-4~ -alquiltio ou di-c~ 1-4~ -alquilamino, R~ 3~ é hidrogênio ou metila, R~ 4~ é arila, aril-C~ 1-4~-alquila, heteroarila ou heteroaril-C~ 1-4~ -alquila, sendo que a cada qual dos anéis aromáticos pode estar opcionalmente substituído; e X é CH ou nitrogênio; ao uso de tais compostos para o controle de fitopatógenos, a composições para facilitar tal uso, e à preparação dos compostos de fórmula I.
