Abstract

Patente de Invenção "INSTRUMENTO PARA USO DE FIO DENTAL". O instrumento constitui-se de um arco rígido de plástico com dispositivos de fixação do fio em suas extremidades. Estes dispositivos, são cabeças elípticas rotacionáveis (3) com eixo excêntrico (8), que quando tensionadas pelo fio (1) em sua extremidade superior, tendem a aperta-lo nas superfícies estriadas de contato das cabeças com as hastes (2). O fio é mantido em sua posição através de canaleta (4), guias laterais (5) e um gancho (7) no topo das cabeças.
