A presente invenção refere-se a uma peça de revestimento interno, especialmente um painel de instrumentos (1), para veículos automotivos, cujo suporte (2) emoldurado por lâmina ou espuma prevê uma tampa (5) para a passagem de uma airbag quando o último se expande. A característica da presente invenção é o fato de que ao longo da borda de ligação é rebitada uma faixa de lâmina de reforço (8).
