Patente de Invenção "PROCESSOS E APARELHO PARA DETERMINAR A TEMPERATURA DE ÍNICIO DE APARECIMENTO DE CRISTAIS EM PETRÓLEOS PARAFÍNICOS". É descrito um processo para medir a temperatura de início de aparecimento de cristais de parafina em petróleos e derivados, através de um gráfico da variação da massa específica do óleo com a redução de temperatura. Uma inflexão no gráfico indica a temperatura de início de cristalização das parafinas presentes no óleo. O processo se aplica a óleo morto ou com gás em solução e é realizado com auxílio de um densímetro de alta pressão e temperatura.
