Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MÉTODO DE TRATAMENTO DE UMA SUPERFÍCIE METÁLICA" . Áreas de superfície (10) substancial podem ser tratadas por movimento continuamente magneticamente de um arco elétrico (14) na superfície substancial continuamente em torno de uma direção de laço geral tal com um círculo, elipse ou oval e movimento a superfície de forma que o arco (14) trata uma área de superfície substacial. O tratamento de arco pode ser usado para limpar ou encapsular uma superfície (10) e um agente de tratamento ou reagente (140) pode ser trazido para o local de contato do arco (14) para alterar a superfície (130) tratada com o arco. Tratamentos auxiliares para a superfície podem preceder ou seguir propriedades de superfície muito desejáveis incluindo uma aspereza moderada ou condição de acabamento fosco adequado mesmo para aplicações críticas tais como litoplaca de alumínio. Outras características de superfície podem incluir uma ou mais de capilaridade, adesão, emissividade uniforme, óxido estável, limpeza de revestimento orgânicos e outros, acabamento fosco ou brancura, capacidade de pintura e outros.
