Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA BENEFICIAMENTO DE COMBUSTÍVEIS POR IRRADIAÇÃO COM ELÉTRONS" . Um processo e uma instalação para o melhoramento das propriedades tecnológicas e físico-químicas de combustíveis, em particular biocombustíveis e óleos de pirólise obtidos a partir de biomassa ou de dejetos industriais ou municipais, são sugeridos. O combustível obtido por processos de conversão termoquímica em um reator (1) é submetido a um processo de ativação de irradiação com elétrons ou de estimulação com elétrons por meio de um acelerador eletrostático (10) ou de outro dispositivo equivalente, tal como uma descarga dielética silenciosa ou descarga de coroa de flâmula em pulso. Esse tratamento plasma-químico induz mecanismos químicos complexos de redução/oxidação no combustível sob tratamento, com uma melhoria de suas características.
