Abstract

"ADITIVOS DE COMBUSTÍVEL". A emissão de partículas e hidrocarbonetos não-queimados nas emissões de gás de exaustão a partir de combustíveis hidrocarbonetos líquidos, especialmente combustíveis diesel e óleos combustíveis é reduzida pela incorporação no combustível de uma quantidade eficaz de um complexo alcalino alcalino terroso ou terra rara solúvel em óleo da fórmula: M(R)~ m~.nl onde M é o cátion de metal de valência m, R é o resíduo de um composto orgânico RH contendo um átomo hidrocarboneto ativo, preferivelmente beta-dicetona, n é um inteiro usualmente 1, 2, 3 ou 4, e L é uma molécula ligante doadora orgânica (base de Lewis).
